Atlas is seeking an experienced System Administrator that can support Windows and Linux for a Navy tactical information system. We are seeking a motivated, analytical and detail-oriented Administrator to assist our client in defining, implementing, maintaining, supporting, tuning and troubleshooting software and hardware. This position is part of a dynamic team fulfilling technical needs of our military and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the development and testing environment. Pay band: $85,000 - $110,000

You Will:

• Perform system and software installation
• Administer Windows OS 10/11, Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022 and Linux systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 and Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 LTS)
• Utilize automation for deployments & configurations
• Perform system and data backups and restores
• Monitor Systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting of lab hardware and software

Must-Haves:

• U.S. Citizenship
• A Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance with ability to obtain a T/S
• A BS Degree in relevant technical field or combination of education and experience (10 yrs). 15 Years experience in lieu of degree
• Demonstrated knowledge of hardware specifications found in servers, desktops, laptops, and tablets
• Strong documentation and oral communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities
• A Self-Motivated, strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• A passion for learning about, and working in the IT industry
• Knowledge of server platforms such as: Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Redhat Enterprise Linux 6/7/8, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
• Knowledge of Windows command line tools: PowerShell, Scripting, Task Automation
• Knowledge of Linux CLI, Bash, nano, and remote management via PuTTY.
• Knowledge of database management including SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2014,
• Knowledge of Active Directory including Group Policy, Domain Trusts, DNS, User and Group Management
• Knowledge of DevSecOps administration including: Fortify, BitBucket, Jira, SharePoint, Bamboo, JFrog Artifactory
• Knowledge administrating ESXi, Hyper-V and VMWare Environments
• Knowledge of Docker and application containerization
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and supporting software development needs
• Knowledge of Intellij IDEA
• Knowledge of routing and switching, including Cisco IOS configuration via PuTTY
• The ability to administer and deploy new systems as organizational needs require
• STIG Implementation
• ACAS Scanner/Scanning
• Information Systems Hardware/Data Center IT Infrastructure
