Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. This position requires onsite presence during the training period to ensure thorough onboarding and effective collaboration. After the training period is complete, the role offers flexibility, allowing for telework with a requirement of 2 to 3 days per week in the office, depending on the current workload and specific situational demands.

Pay band: $85,000 - $95,000

You Will:

• Have ownership of various financial functions, with primary focus on forecasting and budgeting. Maintain and improve financial models which accurately forecast future performance and assist in identifying potential risks and impacts. Stay in contact with our Contract and Operation teams to ensure continued understanding of our Company’s contract types and requirements to ensure models and assumptions are accurate.

• Perform variance analysis to investigate and explain significant deviations between budgeted and actual financial results.

• Support indirect cost stakeholders in monitoring of actual costs, identification of effective financial KPIs, and supportable estimating processes of future expenditures.

• Assistance in preparation of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) financial documentation and reporting.

• Analyze and interpret financial data from various sources to create clear and concise financial reporting for management. This includes staying current on industry (GOVCON) trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

• Conduct research and analysis in support of strategic initiatives.

• Perform or lead internal audits of specific processes or accounting balances, process improvement or automation projects, support to the Finance Department as needed.

• Support future pricing modeling.

You Have:

• Experience in the defense contracting industry with a range of financial functions.

• High proficiency and experience in financial modeling and forecasting techniques using Excel or similar software.

• Experience solving problems and gaining critical insight through data review.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial reports and processes. Proficient working in an accounting system.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance or Accounting, and at least 4 years of related experience.
